Custom Encoder Disc RFQ Checklist: 20 Parameters to Send

Short answer

Send your CAD drawing (DWG/DXF) plus these 20 parameters. The more complete the list, the more accurate the quotation and the fewer sample iterations. Leave unknowns blank and tell us the application — our engineers will help fill the gaps.

Copy this table, fill in what you know, and send it with your drawing via the RFQ form or e-mail.

The example column only shows how to fill each line — the values are not recommendations or ENC7 specifications.

Tips

  • Tell us the readhead or interpolation chip model — it defines pitch, gap and signal requirements.
  • For absolute discs, give the reading radius of every track.
  • If you are replacing an existing disc, include its drawing and the encoder it goes into.
